Fatima Moreira de Melo born on July 4, 1978 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is a former hockey professional player and current professional poker player sponsored by Poker Stars.

 

Fatima is the daughter of a Portuguese diplomat, Fatima studied law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, but her name will forever be linked not to the law but to her career as a professional Hockey players, yes it is true before becoming a poker player Fatima was one of the best female players of hockey in the Netherlands she was also elected as the "Female Athlete of the Year Rotterdam" in 2006.
